AGEL – NEW TEAM MEMBER ORIENTATION
We appreciate the time and energy you are committing to
building your AGEL business. The
talent, effort, and enthusiasm each of you brings to this
team venture will reap tremendous results
if you continue to follow the plan we have set in the
private work planning sessions we conducted.
It is important to set up this New Team Member Orientation
with your new member within 48 hours
of their joining, so they understand the necessary sequence
of activities to achieve their goals.
And, they should review
www.GetAgelTraining.com
and submit their candidate list to you prior to
the scheduled New Team Member Orientation.
NOTE:
Please make sure that all new AGEL Team Members go to
http://www.agel.com
and log in
with their ID number and password to check their profile to
be sure all information is correct
including: their name, address, phone #, email address,
credit card number, expiration date, and
their autoship is properly set for the beginning of the
month. We suggest that all autoships be set
by the 5th of the month so you will know the amount of
autoships you have … and then can work
on sponsoring new team members to reach new ranks.
The Correct Activities Provoke Results:
Focus on the correct activities to reach your goals. We
refer to them as “billable hours” … anything
else you do, you do for FREE. Here are the correct
activities:
1. Identify candidates by developing your list.
Put together your Candidate List. DO NOT PRE-QUALIFY! Must
be at least 24 candidates. Fax
or e-mail your list to your personal sponsor, including
names, phone numbers and email
addresses BEFORE your scheduled New Team Member Orientation.
You will find a
spreadsheet for your use on
www.GetAgelTraining.com
• Look through your email address book/rolodexes; update
numbers from
http://www.switchboard.com
• Your current planner and old planners you have kept around
• Membership directories of organizations you belong to &
business cards collected
• Wedding lists and event lists you have attended
• Yearbooks … you can also look up old friends by “advance
search” on
http://www.google.com
• Your check books to see where you spend money
• Use the memory jogger on
www.GetAgelTraining.com
to trigger your memory for other
people you know
• Your sponsor will help you grade your list, once you
prepare it and submit it to them prior to
your scheduled New Team Member Orientation, within 48 hours
of your joining.
2. Approach your candidates by phone using the WIW
approach which can be found on
http://www.AgelNetwork.com
under section 5 – Scripts and sample letters … you may
invite
them to review
www.GetAgelInfo.com
and then
www.AgelWorld.com
3. Invite your candidates to join you at your upcoming PBR
in your home, if they are local … or if
they live at a distance, then or on one of our next LIVE web
casts … see schedule on
www.OnlineABB.com
4. 3-way calls with your candidates and your personal
sponsor, or one of the upline leaders when
you plan to follow up right after the PBR or online ABB.
This will show your candidates that
they do not have to know all the answers … that they too
will have support in this follow up
procedure. When you set a time for a specific time to follow
up, it will become easier for you to
schedule a 3-way call with one of the upline leaders. By
doing so, you will also create a sense
of urgency for your candidate to be prepared to speak to
you. By following this procedure, you
will notice a higher sponsor ratio.
5. Presentations hosted in your home will create group
energy. Inviting your candidates and
then having your sponsor call them to confirm their
attendance with you, will raise the number
of candidates who attend. Then having your sponsor come to
conduct this presentation will also
show the support … and is a great belief building tool.
6. Training … either your own time spent with your
personal sponsor planning your business, or
training your new members.
• Set Time Commitment and Financial Goals with your new
team member. Ask your
new members to be specific on the hours they will commit
daily/weekly to their AGEL
business; and specifically how much income they want to
generate for the remainder of the
month, keeping in mind that the first bonuses earned are the
Fast Cash Bonuses, Team
Volume Commissions and Executive Bonuses.
a. First 30 days
b. 90 days
c. 6-12 months
• Review all upcoming schedules of PBRs, ABBs, Regional,
National and Global events.
• Review 3-way call process. Order 3-way calling if not
presently on your telephone line. Make a
trial 3-way if available.
• Order Agel cards and personal stickers at
http://www.agelprotools.com
• To build a local group, schedule first 2 PBRs (in home
meetings) with one of your upline
leaders to assist you in conducting, which are great for
belief building of new members and as
second look for some candidates. This creates group energy.
• Role play ideas for inviting candidates to the upcoming
events and make some calls together
with your personal sponsor.
• Send daily activity recap to sponsor/upline- this should
include each candidate’s name, phone
number, email address, date invited you him/her to review
the presentation, conference call or
an upcoming event or your in home meeting, as well as
comments about this person as to how
you know them and what they do. This should be sent to your
sponsor -DAILY. This is the only
way your personal sponsor will be able to help you achieve
your goals.
• Download
http://www.skype.com
… and get a headset with microphone so you can easily
communicate with other skype users via the internet for FREE
throughout the world!
• Walk them through what Resources are available on
www.AgelNetwork.com
• THIS WORKS WHEN WE DO!!
New Team Member Orientation – Continued
What are the steps to success in your Agel business?
1. Sign up at the appropriate level – for most
people, the appropriate level is the executive
level. It is the level at which the greatest potential for
compensation and bonuses exists. In
addition, it gets you started off with the appropriate
amount of product for sampling and
personal consumption. The steeper the promotional curve, the
steeper the product
consumption curve. You will have people ask you at which
level you enrolled, and often,
that is the level that they will enroll. However, there is a
place for EVERYBODY in this
business. Do not turn somebody away if they are unable to
enroll at the highest level.
2. Enroll on the Auto-ship program. Ensure that you
are eligible for the bonuses that
require the Auto-ship to be in place. In addition, you will
not have to worry about whether or
not that next shipment will get ordered. You will want
plenty of product for sampling.
3. Put your goals in writing – begin with the end in
mind. Be realistic, but don’t be afraid to
dream. Don’t worry about how you are going to accomplish
these goals. Just write them
down. Then deliver a copy of your goals to your personal
sponsor. Let him/her help you
reach your personal goals.
4. Formulate your business plan. Have your sponsor or
another team leader help you
formulate a plan for your success. We are a team, and this
is a team effort! There are
many of us who can help you understand the steps to success,
so let’s make a plan
together. Let’s identify your expectations and plan a way to
meet and exceed those
expectations.
5. Daily communication with new team members is
especially important within the first
several weeks of enrollment.
Starting a new business is never easy and there are
obstacles along the way. It is important to provide daily
encouragement so that the
inevitable “dream stealers” will not get the better of your
new team members.
6. Be sure to initiate calls and request help from your
team leaders. It is important for
them to recognize in you the desire to learn this business.
Your team leaders do not want
to feel that they are prodding you, but would much prefer if
you ask for help.
7. Make an unconditional commitment to succeed. There
are enough models in network
marketing to demonstrate that those who are persistent and
don’t ever give up become
incredibly successful. IF you will make the commitment to
not give up in spite of the
challenges, YOU WILL SUCCEED. I promise.
8. Set aside the appropriate amount of time each day,
consistent with your goals. If you
have modest goals, set aside a modest amount of time for
recruiting new team members
and for team training. If you have larger goals for success,
then you will need to set aside a
larger amount of time. You WILL get out of this opportunity
what you put in to it.
9. This is not a get rich quick operation. However,
if you will dedicate enough time to your
business, you will be successful beyond what you thought
possible. You have to go through
the correct steps.
10. Prepare for the “Dream Stealers.” There are many
people out there who are unable to
envision themselves as anything more than what they
currently are. They don’t believe that
they are worthy of something more. Consequently, they will
try to tell you that you are crazy
for trying to elevate your position in life and achieve a
level of success even you never
dreamed possible. Don’t let the “dream stealers” take you
down.
11. Begin your Agel Database – go first for the “low
hanging fruit”. You may start to think
that you don’t know very many people. However, I am
confident that when you put your
mind to it, you will find that you know many, many more
people than you think you do. Just
start to write the names down of everybody you know. Start
with your immediate family and
friends, then think about those with whom you work, those
with whom your children play,
those with whom you went to school, etc., etc.. Every day,
you come into contact with a
large number of people who are going to be interested in
what you have to offer. Agel is an
incredible opportunity and you are providing for others a
once in a life time opportunity to
get involved with a company that is going to grow off the
charts. Whose life do you want to
impact in a positive way?
12. Do NOT prejudge. Anybody who has done network
marketing before will tell you of
countless stories where people who seemed like the
unlikeliest of candidates were actually
the ones who were the most successful. Tell the Agel story
to everyone!
I promise
you will
be surprised at who actually responds to your invitation.
13. Review the details of upcoming events and attend an
event at least once a week on
www.agel.com
and
www.AgelNetwork.com
14. There is nothing that replaces personal interaction;
i.e., home meetings, one-on-one
invitations, weekly training calls, webcasts, etc.. Do not
spend a great deal of time trying to
“reinvent the wheel” with new forms of recruiting new team
members. It has been proven
over and over that the most effective way to recruit is one
on one with other people.
15. Continue the prosperity cycle, and teach your
team members to do the same. This is a
business of duplication, duplication, duplication and of
team work, team work, team work.
Don’t ever forget:
Success = being in the right place at the right time and
doing something about it.
